This Sunday, March 5th (11am service), wear your camping gear to church! Why? As part of bringing awareness to all the ministries offered and commemorating the 100th year of camping at Camp McDowell, Catherine Poellnitz, Summer Camp Director, will be speaking at our 11am Service. So pull out those backpacks, boots and anything else you may have, and show your support for this wonderful program. Summer camp deadlines are already looming, so be sure to visit below to sign up.
With roots since 1923, these summer camp programs are one of the oldest in the country. Each summer camp session features a unique theme designed by a priest from the Diocese and program staff that provides daily, age-appropriate programs and activities that incorporate skits, songs, art, and a healthy dose of humor. These programs encourage learning through scripture, the traditional teachings of the church, and personal and contemporary issues with themes ranging from the environment to discipleship.
