African American Spirituals and their Biblical Foundations

American Spirituals taught by our own All Saints parishioner and Adult Choir member Michael Morgan! The class will run on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 in the Adult Choir Room for 5 weeks--4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, and 5/13.

This is an informal course/discussion on the genre of music called Spirituals and its often misunderstood importance in American Music. We will discuss the difference between gospel songs and Spirituals. We will review a few song arrangements, their biblical references and interpretations from various scholars, arrangers, composers, and Michael’s own perspective and experiences from many years of study and performance.

VBS Registration

Vacation Bible School We’re going to Israel! Mark your calendars for Vacation Bible School, June 21-24 , when we will travel back to the ancient time of Jesus in the Land of Israel. Sunday (6:30 - 8:00 pm) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (9:00 am - 12:00 pm) Ages Children 4 years (by June 21) through rising 6th graders are welcome to participate in Vacation Bible School. Rising 6th graders will be in their own Elder Tribe. Volunteers Vacation Bible School at All Saints is a very intergenerational experience. We love volunteers of all ages. Rising 7th graders (and others up to any age!) can volunteer any of the VBS days. Mahjong Anyone?

Have you learned how to play Mahjong but need a consistent group to keep up your knowledge of the game? Do you like to meet different people at All Saints and gather in fellowship? Well, open to all ages and genders, meet the Mahj Squad, a group that meets 2-3xs a month at All Saints to play Mahjong.
