My name is Drew Hataway and I have been a parishioner at All Saints since 2011 alongside my wife, Felicia, and our four children, Luke (22), Thomas (21), Eleanor (12), and Rex (10). I work at Samford University as an Associate Professor of Biology and in Research Compliance. Felicia and I began and ended our search for a church home at All Saints after our older sons participated in the Catechism of the Good Shepherd on the first day and asked if we could come back every week. Since that time, All Saints has been an important part of our family life and I have served as a LEM for the last several years and am firmly ensconced in the library on Sunday mornings as part of the Contemporary Studies class. I am honored to be considered for service on vestry.

As Christians, we believe all of creation was called into being by the very word of God. The Bible reveals that our Creator calls us to be stewards of creation and to love our neighbors. Inspired by the unsurpassed love God showed us by sending Jesus Christ, God’s only son, to redeem us through his death and resurrection, we respond to God's commands. The Episcopal Diocese of Alabama and the All Saints Creation Care Committee is committed to environmental education, advocacy, and action for our neighbors and all of creation.
