Soup for the Soul Fundraiser

There is a delectable way to offer assistance to many in need! It is called "Soup for the Soul". You can help by cooking or eating or both! This fundraiser will provide an opportunity to cook soup that will then be sold ($10 a quart) to provide funding for our "Outreach Grant Programs" such as Family Promise, Grace Works, Sawyerville, and Community Kitchens. Show off your culinary and/or your donating skills by cooking or purchasing them during a ONE DAY SALE Sunday, March 19, 2023.

For all of the cooks out there, over the next couple of weeks, you can stop by any time and pick up empty quart containers located in the Great Hall. Take as many as you like and then bring them back to the church once you have cooked one/some/all of the five soup options below. Instructions and the list of soups to choose from will also be available when you pick up the quarts. Use your own recipe, your grandmother's or pull something from online. The deadline to bring back cooked soup is Sunday, March 19.

Five soups to choose from:

  1. Chicken Noodle
  2. Chili
  3. Vegetable soup (*please label if vegetarian or contains meat)
  4. Potato Soup
  5. Santa Fe / Taco Soup

**When purchasing on March 19th, please be sure to specify "Outreach" on Realm or in the memo line of your check so that the donations are streamlined to their destination.
