July 27
The Rev. Cameron Nations, Canon for Vocations and Community Engagement
The Rev. Nations brings over a decade of experience in ordained ministry, clergy development, and vocational discernment. In this role, he collaborates closely with the Bishop and the Canon to the Ordinary to identify, form, and nurture new leaders for ministry. He provides formation and theological education for current clergy and lay leaders, enriching the spiritual life and leadership within the diocese. His vision for vocation is deeply rooted in the understanding of the nature of the church found in Paul’s letters, that the church is the body of Christ, and that every member of the body is integral to the whole. He is married to Carly, who is currently pursuing her PhD in English at the University of Texas. They have a three-year-old daughter, Cece, as well as two dogs, Arthur and Rupert, and a cat named Mabel.

August 3
The Rev. Kelley Hudlow
Instructor of Preaching
As an Instructor for Preaching, Kelley guides students through the nuances of effectively communicating the gospel across diverse contexts, emphasizing attention to marginalized communities and contemporary societal issues. She also participates in Field Education courses and serves as a faculty mentor in the seminary’s innovative competency-based degree program. She is a preacher, storyteller, and occasional printmaker. She has served as the Canon for Vocations and Community Engagement for the Diocese of Alabama. In this role, Kelley worked with people in formation for ordination and lay leaders, directs the diocesan local ministry school, and identifies and develops continuing education offerings for clergy. She also worked to support our diocesan community ministries, including Sawyerville and racial healing pilgrimages. She served as the Lead Documentarian for the Alabama state committee of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival. Kelley has served as an itinerant preacher, traveling to churches without regular clergy. Kelley has a BA in History and a juris doctorate.
