Our Story as a Community of Faith

"Our Story as a Community of Faith"

Sermon by The Rev. Ranie Neislar

September 29, 2024

We need to be reminded of our past, what we have lived through, through, what we have persevered through, what we are made of, to get where we are. We need to remember who we were 30, 40, ten years ago. The past narrative has been full of riches, incredibly full moments, seasons of growth. And yet, as much as that is so important to who we are today, we are no longer there. We are here. We sit firmly in 2024 and the days are becoming cooler and we continue to be faithful followers. But what that looks like depends on how we want to invest our wisdom and in our community. My prayer is that the Lord puts His Spirit upon us, that we may be faithful witnesses to the formation of our story as a community of faith.
