Welcome to The Rev. Ranie Neislar

All Saints is proud to welcome The Rev. Ranie Neislar as our new Associate Rector! Ranie comes to us from St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Huntsville. Her first Sunday is March 10, 2024! We will have a welcome reception for her in the Great Hall between the morning services. This will be a “pounding” or “stock the pantry” for her - bring a pound of coffee, canned goods, baking needs, even gift cards to Publix or Target.

She is thrilled to serve All Saints and is ready to jump into the work of ministry with everyone in the parish community. Ranie grew up in Athens, GA, attended the University of Georgia, and is still a Bulldog through and through. She fell in love with The Episcopal Church while living in Augusta, GA after college and quickly started working for parishes in Augusta primarily working as a youth and young adult minister. After finishing seminary at Sewanee in May of 2020, Ranie took her first call at St. Thomas in Huntsville, AL.

While in Huntsville Ranie continued to hone her skills as a priest and met the love of her life! Ranie’s husband, Worth Stuart is also a priest and when they are not working you can find them enjoying long walks in the neighborhood or playing with their two dogs. Ranie also enjoys exercise of all kinds, live music with Worth, and gardening. She can’t wait to dive into the many facets of life at All Saints!

We’re excited to welcome our new Nursery Director, Jenni Weikard , who has been part of the All Saints community since 2016. Join us in congratulating her on her new role! From Jenni: I have been a part of the All Saints community since 2016, working primarily in the nursery and supporting our youngest parishioners. Working closely with children inspired me to learn more about how to best support them, and I earned my PhD in child development (with a special focus on play behaviors!) from UAB in 2023. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing space where children can grow through play. I am also the mother of two (soon to be three!) wonderful children: Vance (5yo) and Nora(3yo) with Baby Sister expected to join us in July. I am so excited to be stepping into this role to continue to serve in such a wonderful and welcoming community and getting the opportunity to inspire playfulness in your children.
