"Learning to Love Like Jesus"

Going to seminary was challenging and distressing, especially as some things I thought I absolutely knew to be true were shattered. I learned that Jesus’ command to “love one another” in John’s Gospel was not a universal call, but a specific directive to the Christian community—showing love as he did, even through humble service, disagreement, and forgiveness.

You are welcome even if singing in a choir would be a brave new world for you! Choir Camp is at Camp McDowell August 28-30 (the same weekend as the Parish Retreat). You can come for any part of the weekend to explore this final frontier. Wednesday rehearsals are 6:30-8:30 each week starting on September 2. Anyone is welcome to check it out!

We’re a community of 30–50 year olds who gather once a month for fellowship and fun. Our next gathering is Sunday, August 16th, from 2:00–5:00pm . Join us for snacks, fellowship, and pool fun!
