You can take the bread that you have been fed with and begin to extend it to others in need to fulfill that image of heaven. Taste and see that the Lord is good. The feast that you and I are called to here at this table, the feast that we are then called to go and take with us into the world, is not some idea or thought or second or third hand experience, where we're depending on someone else's, say it is an invitation to come by yourself, to come one by one, and know for yourself that those deepest longings of your heart that Jesus says to you, I am the bread of life.

We’re excited to welcome our new Nursery Director, Jenni Weikard , who has been part of the All Saints community since 2016. Join us in congratulating her on her new role! From Jenni: I have been a part of the All Saints community since 2016, working primarily in the nursery and supporting our youngest parishioners. Working closely with children inspired me to learn more about how to best support them, and I earned my PhD in child development (with a special focus on play behaviors!) from UAB in 2023. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing space where children can grow through play. I am also the mother of two (soon to be three!) wonderful children: Vance (5yo) and Nora(3yo) with Baby Sister expected to join us in July. I am so excited to be stepping into this role to continue to serve in such a wonderful and welcoming community and getting the opportunity to inspire playfulness in your children.

Picnic & Parks! Pack your sense of adventure and join us indoors for a picnic—no bug spray required! This is Tuesday, May 6, at 12:00pm. We’ll provide a picnic lunch in the Great Hall and be joined by special guest Will Collins, Statewide Trails Coordinator for Alabama State Parks. He will share insights about our state’s incredible trail systems. If you have any questions, reach out to Susan Ponder: suponder@bellsouth.net
May 4 is Creation Sunday here at All Saints! Be sure to walk or bike to church, and we will have a "Blessing of Bikes!" As part of this day we also plan to have plantable seed bookmarks available, and a biodegradable paper bookmark with seeds embedded in it, to be given out at both morning services.
Get ready for a brand-new summer tradition! All Saints is launching its very first "Screen on the Green" this year, and you're invited to the debut on Thursday, June 19 at 7:30pm! We will be watching Toy Story! . We’re setting up the big screen on the Terrell Commons grass area—just bring your chair, your popcorn, and whatever else you like. It’s the perfect way to kick off summer!
Join us every Monday at 6:00pm in the Jackson-Thorpe Room for a series of book studies on different topics. We’ll begin this Easter season by discussing Chapter One of " How We Learn to Be Brave" by Bishop Mariann Budde. All are welcome, come even if you haven’t had a chance to read the book.
