"How Can We Hear the Good News?"

We must remember that the good news has begun. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness still has not overcome it. Let the kingdom of God which has come near is brought about not by force, but by faith. And it certainly does not come about by pretending as if everything is okay and as it should be. Rigorous honesty grants us the grace of a moment of clarity, and that clarity that brings us into an encounter with the truth about ourselves before God. And it is this truth that will empower us to experience God's love and speak of it with authentic power.
