Pastoral Care

Where there is hurting or a need, All Saints seeks to be there in the spirit of grace and love. The pastoral care areas listed below are always in need of those who wish to support others emotionally, spiritually and physically.

Care Teams

Care Teams are a way for church members to do what they enjoy, in the time they have, to care for the practical, emotional, and spiritual needs of their fellow parishioners in a coordinated way.

Email clergy for more information.

Flower Teams

Each week the flower ministry divides the altar flowers into smaller bouquets, then delivers them to members of All Saints who are suggested by Clergy or the Pastoral Care committee.

Email Pam Holby for more information.

Funeral Guild

When a funeral is held at the church, the funeral guild provides support for the family and bereaved. This includes greeting guests and providing refreshments for visitations or receptions.

Email Donna Gooch for more information.

In Stitches Knitting Group

Each Thursday afternoon, a group of All Saints members gather to knit shawls to be given to those experiencing a life change. These tangible signs of God’s grace are prayerfully made and blessed by a priest before being delivered to someone in need.

Email Memily Colvin for more information.

Lay Eucharistic Visitor

These church members are trained and licensed to bring Communion on a regular basis to parishioners who are unable to be present at worship for an extended period due to health issues or other limitations.

Email clergy for more information.

Meal Teams

Meal Teams are a wonderful way to show love to our All Saints community. These volunteers cook and distribute meals to parish members.

Email Michele Suttle for more information.

Note Card Ministry

This group sends hand-written notes of encouragement to parishioners on our church prayer list.

Email Sally Vick for more information.

Prayer List

Our parish prayer list is a valuable way of enlisting the prayer support of the entire congregation. Members are prayed for aloud at Sunday services. Friends and family are prayed for during Wednesday morning prayer and at other times during the week.

Email Tara Portney for more information.

Prayer Tree

This group of church members provides immediate prayer support in times of crisis. These prayer requests do not automatically go on our public prayer list unless requested.

Email clergy for more information.

Tract Rack

All Saints provides helpful brochures with guidance on dealing with a variety of challenging life circumstances. These are located on the bookshelf in the lobby to the right as you come in the front doors. To help with this ministry. Email Tara Portney or Patsy Andrews for more information.
