Fiddlesticks Music is a Music Together® Center. This research-based, international program is musically well-rounded, classes are formatted after the recommendation of early-childhood educational experts, and the music in the program is culturally diverse. The families in this program include many folks from our church community at All Saints, but it reaches out to families from all around Birmingham. Fiddlesticks Music fosters a joyful environment of singing and community building that brings together people of diverse identities, faiths, races, abilities, and ages. Classes are offered at All Saints almost every day of the week, with options in the morning and afternoon.

Mixed Age classes: include weekly 45min music classes for newborn babies to 5 year olds. Kids come to class with an adult - like a parent, nanny or grandparent - and we learn together through singing, dancing and playing. This basic class follows the recommendations of child-development researchers - grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning.  Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are happy because all the children in the family can go to one class together.

Babies classes: are especially designed for babies 8 months and younger with a parent or caregiver, and classes feature special songs and activities to help you identify and encourage musical responses in your baby. We have fun playing and singing together (yes, babies sing!) while those in class meet and form lasting friendships with other parents and their babies.

Rhythm kids: are for ages 4yrs to 8yrs, and they tap into how big kids are wired to learn. Music games, rhythm pattern play, drumming, and more engage their creativity inspiring them to explore their musicality in new ways, both during and outside of class. During each weekly, high energy class, kids have a blast singing, dancing, and jamming to rhythms and tunes inspired by musical traditions around the world. Their specially trained teacher leads group and individual activities that get students up and moving as they learn to compose, choreograph, and conduct.
