  • How do I become a member?

If you are a member of another Episcopal Church, or have been baptized in a church other than the Episcopal Church:

You can fill out an online form and join here.  You may also contact our Parish Coordinator, Tara Portney, (205) 879-8651 or office@allsaintsbhm.org. Tara will transfer the letter from your former church.

What if I haven’t been baptized?

The Episcopal Church baptizes people of all ages (infants, children, and adults) in the context of the Sunday worship service. Please contact our Interim Rector, The Rev. Mary Bea Sullivan, at (205) 879-8652 or mbsullivan@allsaintsbhm.org, to discuss baptism.

What is Confirmation, and how do I become confirmed?

Confirmation is a sacramental rite where persons who have been duly prepared make a mature, public affirmation of their faith, a commitment to the responsibilities of Baptism, and receive the laying-on-of-hands by the bishop.

For information about Adult Confirmation, contact our Interim Rector, The Rev. Mary Bea Sullivan, at (205) 879-8652 or mbsullivan@allsaintsbhm.org. For information about Youth Confirmation, contact Director of Youth Ministries, Kristin Blackerby, at kblackerby@allsaintsbhm.org.

What if I have been confirmed in another church other than the Episcopal Church?

If you have been confirmed in another denomination (Roman Catholic, Lutheran, Orthodox), having received the laying-on-of-hands from a bishop, please speak to our Interim Rector, The Rev. Mary Bea Sullivan, at (205) 879-8652 or mbsullivan@allsaintsbhm.org).
